Summer Gold Dogwood - Cornus kousa 'Summer Gold'

With bright GOLD margins, this dogwood is sure to brighten up the shade.  It also has bright white bracts that look like flowers and are held above this fabulous foliage. Fall color is first pink and then matures to a true red fall color. Height 15-18' Width 15'

Hydrangea Pinky Winky

Pinky Winky Hydrangea

Pinky Winky Hydrangea are great for cutting and flower gardens. I love this hydrangea for shade gardens although in the Midwest it can take some sun. This beauty's flowers will grace the plant mid to late summer and be on display for the rest of the season.  Flowers start off a white and as the season turns to fall the flowers turn a pink hue for the remaining gardening season. Height 6-8' Width 6-8'. Loma Vista is also growing Pinky Winky as a tree form. Photo courtesy of Proven Winners.

Rhododendron PJM Elite

Rhododendron PJM Elite

This is the best Rhododendron for our area, blooming later than your typical PJM, adorning the beautiful bright lavender/pink flowers mid-late April. This broadleaf-evergreen has an interesting burgundy-purple color in the fall, holding the foliage all winter long. Height 4-6' Width 4-6' varies greatly by planting site.  Photo courtesy of MoBot.

These are just a few notable plants that Loma Vista Nursery grows. Please contact sales for more information on all our hardy garden plants!
